Operations Manager


 

The Operations Manager will help oversee Rveal Media’s organizational processes, performance, efficiencies, and the overall satisfaction of its employees. This individual will assist in the recruiting, training and hiring process, implementing policies and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency levels, and building an enjoyable company culture. They’ll also oversee various company financial processes, like auditing, reporting, and budgeting to ensure the company stays in great financial standing.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies, automations, and procedures
  • Coordinating different teams to foster the exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities 
  • Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits
  • Identifying potential problems, inefficiencies, and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue
  • Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and provides strategic solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
  • Oversee customer project pricing, invoicing, and contract creation
  • Help oversee taxes, budgeting, bookkeeping, reporting, planning, and auditing
  • Lead our operational, risk review, and goal roadmap programs
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and hiring of new team members
  • Champion the use of, training, and advancement of organizational tech programs (Asana, Quickbooks, Slack, HubSpot, etc) to assure greater efficiency and growth

 

Looking for someone with:

  • “Big picture” thinking, which is key to addressing current and future concerns while finding the best possible solution using all available data
  • Ability to communicate with both executives and employees in order to create and administer company policy
  • A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to change and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
  • Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
